Terms of Sale and Use

Plain terms for a digital book and private classes. By using this site or buying, you accept them.
1. Who we are
Spanish with Sofís is a brand created by Sofía Gil and operated by Innova Ingeniería Integral S.A.S. (NIT 901.094.407-5), Calle 37 No. 13-30, Oficina 301, Ibagué, Tolima, Colombia, operating the Spanish with Sofís brand created by Sofía Gil. Contact: sofia@spanishwithsofis.com.
2. The eBook
Spanish with Sofís, Vol. 1 is a bilingual (Spanish/English) digital book in PDF format with 12 chapters. It comes with a personal digital card with your name, one of Sofía's messages and her signature. It does not include audio, video, live sessions or access to the Academy. The preview on this site shows real content from Chapter 1.
3. Your licence
- You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the book on your own devices and print it for personal use.
- You may not resell, share, lend, upload, publish or distribute the file, or use it to teach commercially or to train AI models.
- Each copy carries the buyer's email address. We may cancel the download links of a copy that is distributed without permission.
4. Prices and payment
eBook prices are shown in US dollars and include the taxes that apply to you. The sale is processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, whose buyer terms also apply. Your bank may charge currency conversion or international fees. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects an order already paid.
5. Delivery
After payment, you receive an email with your download link and your card link, usually within minutes. Links are valid for 30 days: please download and keep your copy. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and write to us; we will send it again.
6. Refunds and right of withdrawal
We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund on the eBook. See the Refund Policy. This is in addition to, and never limits, the rights you have under consumer law in your country.
7. Private classes
- Private classes are one-to-one sessions with Sofía Gil on Google Meet, sold in packages of 4, 8 or 12 classes.
- They are arranged and paid directly with Sofía through the channels she indicates. Before you pay, she confirms in writing the schedule, the class length, how long the package is valid, and the rescheduling and refund conditions.
- You need a stable internet connection, a camera and a microphone. Classes are not recorded unless both of you agree in writing.
8. Academy and Insider
The Academy (Learner) and the Insider membership are not available yet. Prices and features shown on the site are indicative and may change before launch. Joining the waitlist does not commit you to buy anything.
9. AI assistant
An AI assistant answers WhatsApp messages on Sofía's behalf. It can make mistakes: the price, content and conditions shown on this site and confirmed in writing by Sofía prevail over anything the assistant says. You can ask to talk to a person at any time.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site and in our products (texts, illustrations, design, cards and the Spanish with Sofís brand) belongs to Sofía Gil and/or Innova and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to the site, but not copy its content without written permission.
11. Acceptable use of the site
Don't use the site to break the law, send spam, attempt to access our systems without authorisation, or collect other people's data. We may block abusive traffic.
12. Liability
The book and the classes are learning aids. We do our best to make them accurate and useful, but we don't guarantee a specific level of Spanish or any particular result. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before any claim, write to us: most issues are solved by email. EU consumers can also use their national consumer dispute resolution bodies.
14. Changes and contact
